Learn 17 Biblical Principles to Live a Christ-Centered Life from...

Dr. Tony Davis

Biblical Principle #1: Trust in God

Whether it’s Proverbs 3:5-6, Isaiah 40:31, Romans 8:28 or your favorite scripture or life verse, trusting in God is at the heart of our relationship with God, trusting Him completely through the challenges and storms of life.

Biblical Principle #2: Humility

Jesus exemplified humility in all He did. We are living in a world where the quality of humility seems like something that will get you further behind, even trampled underfoot, instead of ahead. In Scripture we see humility as a quality that is very near and dear to the Heart of God.

3. Confession and Repentance BG Headshot.png
Brian “Papa” Gable

Biblical Principle #3: Confess and Repentance

How do these qualities of confess and repent resemble a life that bears much fruit? Through the power of the Holy Spirit and the precious blood of Christ, confession and repentance become powerful weapons in our arsenal to truly feel the joy of Christ. We disarm the enemy through honest appraisal of ourselves.

4. Integrity MP Headshot.jpg
Michelle L. Perry

Biblical Principle #4: Integrity

Integrity is something that must be at your core, residing in your heart. In our broken, sinful, and dying world, men and women of Christ must be models of integrity and face life with the biblical tools Jesus imparted to us.

5. Courage RJ Headshot.jpg
RJ Jackson

Biblical Principle #5: Courage

We see examples everyday of people showing courage when faced with adversity. They inspire us with their ability and willingness to be bold and courageous. When life gives you a setback and you’re challenged to take action in the face of fear, grief, or pain, having the courage to continue starts with knowing God rewards those who seek and trust Him.

6. Fellowship EJ Headshot.png
Emily Jordan

Biblical Principle #6: Fellowship

The Christian life was never meant to be done alone. Physically, mentally and spiritually we were created to be with others. The importance of Biblical fellowship is literally lifesaving.

7. Kindness MP Headshot.jpg
Mat Park

Biblical Principle #7: Kindness

Our kindness will very often have a rippling effect on others we may not ever meet this side of heaven. But our rewards will come. As Christ’s hands and feet here on this earth, what an opportunity we have to be kind and demonstrate His love for the world to see.

8. Goodness SB Headshot.jpg
Shawnneice Brock

Biblical Principle #8: Goodness

When we look at the world around us, we oftentimes may not see a lot of goodness. But it is there. Acts of goodness are practiced all around us, every day. When we look at goodness from the perspective of God’s Word, we are often challenged to take this concept to an even higher level.

9. Thankfulness FM Headshot.jpg
Franklin James Marshall

Biblical Principle #9: Thankfulness

Gratitude and thankfulness are attitudes that will carry you through life’s storms and enhance the joy and success you celebrate. We have so much to be grateful for and our prayer is that this program will bring to life the attitude of gratitude.

10. Joy AC Headshot.jpg
Aleris Cooper

Biblical Principle #10: Joy

The true source of all joy is available 24/7 to us. Don’t settle for anything second hand. Go to the source, the authentic heart of Jesus. There is where we will surely find joy. Many people look everywhere else for joy except this most special place.

11. Self-Control JB Headshot.jpg
John Bentley

Biblical Principle #11: Self-Control

How many times in life do we say or do something we regret and wish we could take back. By reaching deep into God’s Word, relying on the power of the Holy Spirit and realizing we can do everything in His strength, we can live a life where self-control is exemplified.

12. Wisdom EDH Headshot.jpg
Elder Denise M. Horton

Biblical Principle #12: Wisdom

JJames 1:5 tells us that, if any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. It’s comforting to know that we have a Lord and Savior that will help us make good decisions.

13. Faithfulness ADJ Headshot.jpeg
Apostle Darryl Jackson

Biblical Principle #13: Faithfulness

Faithfulness is a principle that will reap rewards in every area of your life. Be it in business where you must be faithful to your goals, priorities, and planning, or in your personal life where you need to be faithful in your relationships. The servant of Christ is faithful in all areas of their life.

14. Prayer and Med KM Headshot.jpg
Kevin McNulty

Biblical Principle #14: Prayer and Meditation

The heart of God the Father is to have a relationship with you. After all, He sent His only Son to give His life for you. (John 3:16). That is the extent to which He pursues you. The best way we can pursue God is through prayer. We can meditate on His Word to sew it into our hearts to live a life of victory He has promised.

Biblical Principle #15: Perseverance

In life, you will have challenges. Be it health, financial, marital, career or business, or maybe even a faith crisis, the storms of life are inevitable. But, there is good news! God’s Word has an overflow of examples of people who have emerged victorious through trials.

17. Giving RPB Headshot.jpeg
R. Patryce Bryant

Biblical Principle #16: Giving

2 Corinthians 9:7 tells us, each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for the Lord loves a cheerful giver. What exactly is a cheerful giver? A life of service is one that will richly be rewarded.

Chris Jordan
17. Love CJ Headshot.jpg

Biblical Principle #17: Love

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (1 Corinthians 13: 1-7) By Christ’s devotion to us, we are shown what it means to truly go to any length to love.
